What someone should do for me
OK, I dont really mean it, unless you really want to, but it fits in with the video, so…?
Tomorrow is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. So, yes, giving you a bit of warning, so dont say I didnt tell you. Hopefully at least some knew already, but just in case…? And yes, its better than getting me started on Alabama, and Georgia, and now seemingly Missouri, so… No, seriously, dont!
Its funny, this year will be the least I’ve done for this in a few years, but such is the state of my health. Doesnt mean I wont be at home supporting the cause, but still going to be funny not doing something for the department, or the civil service, or anything more this week. And yes, my usual disclaimer, please people, lets make it so we dont have to do this sort of thing any more, OK? Sadly at the moment things seems to be getting worse, not better! Of course those that need to be educated the most will be the ones not reading this, I guess?
I know, its easy for me to say, given I’m Bi, Trans/Intersex, and support all others affiliated in all the letters mentioned generally, but I dont get the Phobia. Firstly, its us, its who we are, so just live with it! Secondly, unless some evil scientist has come up with an evil virus that no one has told me about, you cant catch LGBTI+ from those of us that already are. So just relax, OK?
Oh, and as for the whole toilet thing, I dont know about some, but I go in there for one reason, to use the toilet, wash my hands (see, no gay infection issue, lol), and then get on with that boring thing called normal life. And to all those who say you should use the toilet relating to your genitals, well, I have girl bits, so I’m entitled to use the ladies, and not the gents, OK? Snag is, I also boy bits, so I’m entitled to use the gents, but not the ladies. Does that mean I can use either, neither, or what? And think carefully before answering incorrectly, and making yourself look an idiot. Yes, going to stick to using the ladies, as I have for nearly 10 years now!
PS, if anyone knows a pain free way to remove the boy bits, and tidy up the girl bits for me, feel free! Alternatively, a non sexual cyborg/robot body, complete with either assisting AI, or full interface, or control, even better, due to my current brain function issues.
But other than that, I just request people to treat IDAHOBIT day tomorrow, and the people it related to nicely, not just tomorrow, but forever. OK, plea over.

So, OK, much as I suspected most of us neutrals feared, there was going to be problems in the US, whoever won the election! Alright, ironically Trump, and his followers were the main ones threatening to cause problems if they lost, but the backlash to him actually winning seems equally bad. His followers doing lots of bad things, those who didnt want him protesting merrily, but besides all that…?
Anyway, going back to Wednesday, one of the first things I saw on Twitter, that had me laughing, was this,

Didnt take her long to decide that, for sure! Anyway, me, being me, I had to reply, so this was my offering,
Hey America, I’m brave enough to work as a model, or actress over there in the next 4 years, just need the opportunity! Hardworking,you bet!
No, I havent been flooded with offers lol! Still time, I guess? Yes, I did actually include a request to Mr Trump by Twitter, to give me the rights to do so, but havent heard back from him yet, either. Mind, it was only sent yesterday, so…lol? Glad my passport says I’m female, mind. Probably doesnt help I’m not 25, and East European, maybe? 😉
I also see that supposedly, a good number of the things Trump said he would do, he’s backed down on, but how much news you believe on the net nowadays, is a moot subject?
The other offer I’ve had this week, was (I assume?) in a lighthearted manner, offering to do a property swap with someone I know in Alabama for 4 years. Yes, I’d love that, and I’m sure I could get some work (acting/model/writer) done while there, with luck, but seriously… No, I’m sure he didnt mean it, mainly because he has a very nice house, and I have a very nice, err, studio flat, to describe it best! So yes, it would be win/win for me, but anyway… Would I go if he had meant it? Not sure, Alabama isnt my dream state to live in, but I suppose it could grow on me?
Anyway, lovely guy, but I’m not expecting to move there anytime soon! Well, unless an Alabama theater wants to offer me 4 years (or more) of roles? 😉
Otherwise, I guess I’ll have to wait until next May, and let all those Hollywood studios fight over me…yes, I wish!

Apartment hunting
No, not for me recently, but had fun helping someone else find somewhere, not that I’m ever likely to visit it, seeing its in Alabama! Maybe that made it easier, knowing that all I had to do was make suggestions, and let him do the hard work. Glad to say he did find somewhere, indirectly at least guided by my suggestions, if nothing more. But yes, it was fun, perhaps surprisingly so, and alright, I started looking at a few other places in the US that I’d love to live in, but arent really likely to, unless they have a major change on immigration rules, or I win the lottery lol!
To be honest, its over a decade since I last looked for somewhere to live for myself, but like riding a bike, it soon came back to me. Even more so when I got guidelines on the area I was searching in, never having been to that area of the US, let alone that locality. But being honest, I suspect if I’d had to do the footwork, it might not have been as much fun. The main thing that surprised me about complexes over there, as opposed to here, are the facilities provided. But then again, I should know the differences, because its more or less the same as comparing hotels between the 2 countries. Free wi-fi internet in hotels over there is the norm, not the exception, and to only a slightly lesser degree its the same with rented apartments, judging by the ones I looked at, at least. I checked, for curiousity sake over here, and beyond the luxury stuff (and even then…) it doesnt happen over here!
Where did I look, for those who are curious? Well, its a pretty obvious list if you know me, either literally, or through reading this. Seattle, Wichita, Rochester and Albany are all on the list, cant think why. San Francisco would have been, but I know there wiuld be out of my budget, or so I’m told! Didnt look at New England, though that was tempting. Again, Alaska was tempting, but didnt take a peek. And no, for those who know me, there was nothing in Cherryvale, Kansas lol! Judging by house prices around there, renting isnt really a likely option in that area, you’d be more likely to buy.
But yes, apartment hunting would I think be fun again, even more so doing it as a woman for the first time. I’m tempted to try and look at a few places in Seattle next month if I have the time, but suspect that might be tricky without any proof of being able to live and work in the US.
