Yes, I know, a blog on a Saturday night, shock horror! Sadly, as is often the case, extra blogs, outside of holidays are not usually the tiding of good news, and this is no exception. So all those who had ‘wrist’ on the sweepstake as my next physical issue to arise, you can be paid out. I have had issues with my left wrist, ever since fracturing it about 1980, in a fall on ice, and as I’ve got older, the arthritis in said wrist has been known to show itself more often.
It hasnt been right for a couple of weeks or so, bit more soreness than normal in the lower arm, but nothing I couldnt survive…until yesterday. I know the weather hasnt been great for someone with joint issues (no, not that sort of joint, lol), but even so I’ve been getting by. But yesterday, every time I tried to type on the computer, pain went through my left wrist, and not in a good way.
Right, the good news, I dont think anything is broken in there, but dont quote me on that. Prior to the back issue, I would have been certain of that fact, but yeah, nowadays I’m not so sure. If it is, its minor, like the back, just pretty sore. It could just be that repetitive stress syndrome thing of course, a hazard of my sort of job. Anyway, I’ve learnt my lesson after the back, when I thought it was just standard back pain until the X-Ray, this time I’ve quickly contacted the Physio assistance line at work, and got an appointment at the doctor! Probably an over reaction this time, but better to be safe, than sorry.
Anyway, when I finished (early afternoon), I headed back to Huddersfield, and tried to buy a wrist brace of some kind in the shops in town, since retail people have been complaining because of everyone buying online. Tried 4 stores in all, all of which you would think store something like tbis, and nothing. So ended up coming home, buying on Amazon, and getting one delivered today! And that, dear retail outlets, is why I buy mainly online!
So now I have a back brace, which I have to wear pretty much all of time I’m awake, temporarily, I hope, a wrist brace, because of issues with that, and I own a knee brace, which thankfully I dont need at present. What next, I only ask? Probably an arm sleeve, because I’m not convinced just bracing the wrist is enough, seems to be soreness above that point too. Ah well… 😦
So, just asking, if anyone has a spare, cute looking (ideally) young female body I can have my self downloaded into, please let me know, as its getting more of an urgent issue! Not too slim ideally, as I’ve already got my dress for the Christmas do, and if I’m too slim, it will be way too large! But then again, I have dresses I havent been able to squeeze into, so fine, lets discuss! 😛
OK, the video, what all my bones seem to want to do, break free. I’m sure a few of my friends, especially Angie could tell me the Coronation Street characters portrayed here, but I havent a clue!
So fine, lets go from the sublime to the ridiculous! Last posting, I was suggesting going full flapper for an evening, probably showing some leg, and even in all likelihood, some knees too. Fine at 20, but at 60, should a lady be more modest in her style? Which leads on to this…
In truth, I couldnt afford to buy clothes at Marks And Spencer, way beyond my budget, and in truth, was even before I had to cut back to a 4 day week! So no, until I saw this article today, I didnt even know they had what they call a ‘Modest Clothing’ section nowadays. Would be great for me, if I could afford any of it, but seemingly, for others, the title seems to be an issue.
Maybe I’m too easy going, and open minded, but I dont see the issue with it, and to say that means that everything else is immodest is just plain crazy. But fine, there are some crazies about, so…? Personally, in the middle of British winter, I appreciate clothing that covers my wrists, and ankles, it helps to keep me warm! I cant vaguely imagine in this country (other than in certain religious groups, maybe?) that people who want to wear respectable, but not figure hiding clothing shouldnt be free to do so, they should be! And lets face it there is a whole difference between dressing like that, and not dressing modestly, in my opinion at least.
I know, maybe in ‘everyday’ mode, I am fairly modest in my clothing looks. Probably comes from my nature, and more so, my age, and also the desire to look neat, and pretty (well, as much as I can!) in what I wear. Oh lets make no bones about it darlings, in my time, I’ve worn short skirts, I’ve worn leather numerous times, and even latex on occasion. Thats all before you start on what I’ve worn when acting, and some of those outfits were definitely weird! No, not saying, not without a huge bribe lol!
Lets be fair, this line isnt aimed at youngsters, and twenty somethings, is it? Lets be honest, Marks and Spencers works to a more mature, generally reasonably wealthy market, and they are probably more modest in look!
So no, sorry, most of their target market wont see it as regressive and wrong, lets face it. And no, modest ladies, please dont take this as an opportunity to say that Ann Summers (and the like) clothing makes women look tarty, because then we’re just as bad as the people complaining about this. Each to their own, I say.
Me, generally I verge on modest, but I do have my moments, boop, boop a doo! Short flapper dress, anyone, for me to wear? 😉 Think I’ll pass on latex clothing nowadays lol!
OK, a video treat tonight, in more senses than one. Who used to wear less than modest clothing in Hollywood? Why the chorus line dancers, of course! And who was one of those, why, Clara Elaine Johnson. Tonight’s piece is actually from Strike Me Pink, one of her 2 credited films, this one as a Goldwyn Girl. Oh, and the girl, with Cantor, at 4:13 on this video, well…? 😉 Yes, Clara is definitely less than modestly dressed lol!
No, not going crazy again, not sure I’ve never not been crazy, but anyway… Something far more mundane, a little bit (well, maybe not so little?) of clothes shopping.
In truth, one of the main reasons for my trip into town today, was to get a birthday card for someone, for Thursday, which I at least managed to do. The secondary issue, a bit of clothes shopping for me.
No, nothing very exciting, but stuff that I needed. One thing I’ve discovered walking to work recently, is that even allowing for the fact that winter is coming, its a chilly zone I walk through, with a brisk wind, so wrapping up warm is a wise move. Snag is, most of my tops are of the lighter kind, not much use for winter weather, especially if the forecasters are right this year (they forecast this every year, mind), and that its going to be a cold winter, I need something warmer. I also needed a pair of gloves, for the same reason, and a winter coat too, as my anorak I’ve had for many years is coming to the end of its life as well. The latter, no one would know, unless I lifted my arms up high, but…
Luckily, there’s a charity shop close to the bus stop at the bottom of town, so went in there, hoping I might find something. A coat, a pair of gloves, and 3 tops (2 winter suitable, other vintage look) later, I walked out again! Several months ago, I won a contest on a Facebook group (I tipped well at golf at the time, less so lately), and got £30 of vouchers for the group of shops including Dorothy Perkins (Arcadia group?), and hadnt been inspired by the store across the road at work. I know a lot of the issue is me, and paying out large sums of money for clothing, even if I’m not paying for it, but…So I tried the store in town. Fine, price issue is much the same, but I found a reduced top for winter wear for £10, so hunted around, found a non winter, flapper type top for £20, and yes, issue of spending vouchers is gone lol!
The other main thing I needed was slippers, as my current pair are rather religious now (holy, groan) and I found a cheap pair of those slipper/sock type things, so will give them a try. Oh fine, its after this I went mad, given I was on a roll, and ended up in one of my favourite charity shops in town (Kirkwood Hospice), saw a gorgeous vintage style dress for £6.50, and fine, it came home with me too! May well wear it Thursday night now. My excuse, and sticking to it!
So, lesson learnt, musnt go shopping again too soon, even if I’m paying, and even if all the money only goes to charity shops! But if anyone wants to subsidize me, there are a few things I could get…? 😉 A pair of work shoes, for starters, though I suspect I will be in boots most of the winter. Nightwear, and bras, hmm, might be more critical lol!
Oh, bonus moments. One guy in one of the charity shops said he liked the way I was dressed, and another guy told me to “Be Careful, darling.” as I was trotting round a corner to make sure I got the bus home!
OK, video time. A bit more of Sixpence None The Richer, another cover song.
So fine, picking up from where I left off last time around.
Yesterday morning, at 11.00, I was picked up from my hotel by S, and whisked back to Worcester, to catch the bus back to Albany. Another entertaining chat en route, which led to me discovering that in fact ‘Jean’ was still in my head, and just needed releasing, to make a show. First S did it, just to sort things out between him, her, and me. More correctly, him, my sub concious and me, but that’s just nit picking. Next thing I know, I’m told to do it for myself, and lo and behold, here’s Jeannie!
But before anyone gets any ideas, there are only 2 people that can wake her up, S, and me! Carla is safely tucked away though, before anyone thinks otherwise.
So fine, I’ve quickly discovered that there is a firm that makes Trans Pennine Express look punctual, and that’s Greyhound buses! Anyway, we finally get away from Worcester about 20 minutes late, and head for the Mass Pike, and the journey home. Big snag, accident on the Mass Pike, was a crawl (or slower) for the first 10 miles, and we finally reached Albany 2.5 hours late! Consolation, the most wonderfully sweet taxi driver on the way home, lovely guy, got a better tip than I normally would give, for sure!
Fine, it was well publicised on the news, and on websites that Albany was going to get hit by a big snow storm about the middle of today. So fine, I went out early, and not far, to a nearby Mall. Alright, time for a little fun, I let ‘Jean’ go shopping instead. Now, that was fun! Main moment of amusement, well it seems that Jean possesses quite a Kansas accent. Slightly combined with my own, but predominantly…
Fun moment, when I mentioned about flying back to the UK to one of the cashiers, given my Kansas accent, she asked me when I moved to the UK. I muttered some random year, and just left it at that! Alright, I did think about getting my sub concious to swap me back, change accents totally, (and huskiness of voice) and confuse her, but I’m a good girl, so I didnt.
By the time I got back out of there, the snow was in free fall, with plenty on the ground. Sadly this morning, I’d lived up to my blonde reputation, and only gone out in shoes, and a medium ‘strength’ coat, instead of boots and anorak. I knew it was coming, so why I did that…no idea?
Its different, seeing so much snow, when its only November. The last time I saw this, was about 2000, in Kirkenes, Norway, and thats the other side of the Arctic Circle! Mind, that was the beginning of November, not the end, so…
Right, you’re now up to date, and no, despite the clearness of the roads at least, I’ve decided to forego the Ice Hockey match in town tonight. I’m not the biggest fan of the sport, but if the weather had been good, I might well have gone. But now…
The video, sums up today’s weather really.
Well, I assume most of my followers are as big football fans as me, because the last blog barely got looked at lol! So hopefully a Trans girl, going shopping in the sun might prove more popular.
To be honest, beyond a few vintage style purchases in Jersey charity shops, I havent had an afternoon shopping scavenge in a while, what with work, and everything else thats been taking up my time. Anyway, with 3 days off in a row, and gorgeous weather outside, I decided today would make a fine day to visit Wakefield, and see what I could find.
So what’s new about that, you might be asking yourself? Simple, no trousers, I went in a skirt! And to be honest, it caused as little reaction as I probably would have got wearing trousers, so…I’ll be doing it more often, I’m sure, given that my knees seem to react favourably to the lack of restrictive pressure that trousers cause. Which I sort of had guessed already, but got confirmation of the fact today, and seemingly the world isnt going to end at the sight of me out in a skirt.
So fine, I bought a few, and may well be wearing one of them to work on Wednesday in all honesty. I have got some more, but the 2 ‘nice’ ones are both lined, and might just be a bit warm in this current heatwave, so…Well, I hadnt bought anything in ages…A few tops too, a satin one, a gorgeous 30’s style glittery one (definitely only style, got it on a market stall) and a few more vintage looking ones too. Combined with a vintage style dress, and some new, needed bras (3 for £7)…I spent more than planned. Seriously, Primark seem to have stopped doing 38B, the smallest I can find there now are 38C, so finding some 38B’s reduced, I couldnt miss out. Will give me the chance to throw away a few of my ‘more tired’ ones, shall we say?
The one highlight for me, of this spending spree, was the return of an old friend, the Wakefield Hospice charity shop, home to so many lovely vintage, and vintage look items. Yes, they are back, in the Ridings shopping centre, I nearly squealed with joy when I saw it. And yes, I bought a top (very 30’s look), and a skirt (plain, modern) in there, just to say thank you.
So yes, Wednesday morning, wearing a nice black business skirt to work, instead of trousers, highly likely! Business killer heels, not quite so likely lol, I might have to run for a bus coming home!
Fine, I spent too much, but I had a wonderful afternoon shopping, but discovered the world doesnt end if I go out on my own in a skirt. 🙂
So to the video, its an oldie, a live performance, and the first word in the blog title, is also in the song title.
When I was young, and yes, that is a long time ago, town centres were anything but uniform. In fact the main high streets through the 3 parts of the Medway Towns that I knew well, were full of delightful independent stores, only occasionally interspersed by the odd national name, like Boots, and Woolworths. Indeed, as a record buying teenager, the real delights were the independent record shops in Strood, and Chatham, where it was always possible to get records outside of the top 30, and would also carry a good back catalogue of both albums, and more importantly singles, still available to buy.
You also had butchers, greengrocers, hairdressers and the like, which were not national chains, mainly no more than 2 or 3 shops maximum. It was fun shopping, because no 2 towns, or cities weren’t identical shopping centres. Therefore a visit to a new town, would introduce you to new delights, but…
I’m not sure exactly when it happened, but it did. National brands jumped into towns, firstly through supermarkets, and gradually most of the small food stores got pushed out, because these mass buyers could get discounts that smaller shops couldnt dream about. Music megastores opened, and pushed out the people who really cared about music, not just the profits they could make. As for clothing…! Slowly but surely, town centres became more and more alike, until, well, you cant really tell them apart!
Nowadays, it seems that completely controlling the high streets is not enough for many brands, they have to have ‘shopping centres’ everywhere in town too. In many cases, major names will have a branch in town, and in the shopping centre in the larger cities, just in case one person might pass them by! In smaller towns, its why so many high streets are filled with betting offices, charity shops, pound shops, and pawnbroker/cash loan places, everything else is in the shopping centre!
Thankfully, some smaller towns and cities have tried to resist this event, though in the end, they all seem to be got, to some degree or other. But in the end…the great serpent of ‘shopping heaven’ seems to win through.
Lets take Wakefield as an example, where I went this afternoon. The heart of the town isnt entirely gone, though a big gash through the heart seems to be on its way. A few years ago, a little shopping centre, called ‘The Ridings’ opened up in town. Its a mix of national names (Primark, WH Smith, and the like), and little local shops, so fits in quite well.
Unfortunately, the big developers saw this, and started to build ‘Trinity Walk’. To say its soulless, and full of national brands would be putting it mildly! Fine, its avoidable, and on the whole, I did, and focussed on the little shops, the charity shops, and the wonderful market for my purchases.
The thing is, Trinity Walk decided in its wisdom that it needed to expand more, and put a cinema complex where the market currently is. So that will be gone within months, and no alternative site offered, its more opposition out of the way. Today, as I was heading on the home stretch to the bus station, I noticed one thing, a whole stretch of shops, just around the back from Trinity Walk had suddenly all emptied. Including unfortunately, my favourite charity shop for vintage stuff in town. A lot of these shops had signs up, with one message in common, the lease has ended, and they’ve had to move out, no offer of the chance of staying on. It doesnt really take a genius to work out who’s to blame, does it, seeing they own all the land leading up to that area, Trinity Walk!
Maybe they dont realise, if they shut down all the popular little shops, they may kill off the opposition to them, but, far less people will come to town, if their favourite stores are no longer there! I know, as an option, Wakefield drops down the list for me after today, and I suspect I wont be the only one.
I know, I know, US cities are even worse, on the whole! Not only do they not have downtown shops, they are all parked out in ‘Malls’ miles from town, many of which are hard to reach, if like me, you dont drive! So, I’m not saying they’re any better, just…
And then you hear news reports that retailers are ‘concerned’ because people arent going on to ‘High Street’s’ buying things! Its such a soulless experience, its hardly surprising!
Right, rant over. The video, the song sums up for me the attitude of the big shopping centres, to the rest of the town shopping. Please, special plea, wherever possible, support the smaller shops, and avoid the greedy cartels, thanks
Why, because today almost certainly marked my last venture out shopping for things this year. And yes, unsurprisingly, it was to Wakefield, rapidly becoming my favourite shopping spot. Well fine, it already is, but…
No, I cant guarantee it will be my last, but it looks a safe bet, and given where I work, I should know these things. My days off for the rest of the year are Tuesday and Sunday next week (former is beauty treatment day, latter is last Sunday before Christmas), then Christmas Eve (no way am I going shopping anywhere then!), Christmas Day (pretty obvious), and the Sunday after, when I will be on my own (and public transport is awful anyway). After that, well the next day off is New Years Day, and there are no buses then, and besides which it will be 2014 by then! So, as I say, good bet that today was it.
Surprisingly, 2 weeks before the big day, Wakefield wasnt overly crowded. I know, its midweek, but…To be honest, given all my purchases today (apart from my coffee and cake) were from charity shops, I havent helped the retailers much myself!
Most of it was practical stuff, 4 tops, and 1 skirt, which will all get used for work, and things. Well fine, the skirt to work is only a maybe bet, but…I should do really, they seem to be better for the circulation in my legs than trousers, but its just…I know, I know! Err, one of those tops, no, fails the work test. But…let me explain,
At work, we have a rule that all tops should cover the shoulders completely. Fine, understandable, though some choose to ignore it, and get away with it, but anyway…I try to be a good girl lol! One of the things I love about Wakefield is the quality of clothing options in the charity shops there, some really nice stuff, at very good prices. One especially, the Wakefield Hospice shop, is the creme de la creme. Seriously, I saw a gorgeous silver dress there today, must have cost a fortune new, for £15. Thankfully it was a size 12, with a zip at the back, so no way would I have got into it, because otherwise…drool…
But sneakily, they also, in a size 14, had a top that looked quite literally as if it had arrived direct from the 1920’s. It hadnt, its good a ‘made in Asia, somewhere’ tag in it, so clearly it hadnt, but…Snag, its got nothing more than 2 thin(ish) straps over the shoulders, so I cannot wear it to work. And to be honest, in that sense, whats the point in buying it, even at £4.50? Even though its perfect for a Flapper…? So I talked myself out of it, left it in the shop, even though I regretted doing so.
Fine, I walked round the corner, and after about 5 minutes, changed my mind, and went back and bought it! No idea when, or where I wear it, but, its mine! I know, I know, silly thing to do, but I would have regretted it for ever more if I hadnt.
But anyway, famous last words and all that, it should be the last silly buy of 2013! Stop laughing now!
The video, not the last Christmas one of the year, of that I’m sure. I’d forgotten about this little gem until You Tube reminded me!
Seriously, I have no idea what happened to those temperatures in the 50’s, but they never happened. Today at least, it struggled to hit 40, let alone anything more than that. And given that it drizzled, or worse, most of the day, I didnt bother to go out. I did yesterday though, went over to Bradford, for some fresh air and a stretch of the legs. And yes, alright, I came back with 2 tops from charity shops, at a combined cost of £2.99, hey! Err, they both cost a lot more than that originally, I should think. I also came back with a pink dress from the market, cost £10. No, alright, I’m not sure I need it, or how often I’ll wear it, but it was nice, and looked a bargain to me, so…
Right, the down point, I wore my new shoes. Yes, new shoes, and no socks, for a few hours walking around town, yes, they rubbed a bit. Alright, a bit might be a lot, but anyway…a couple of toes are now a bit tender, but not as bad as they were last night! Yes, I’ve tried to stretch the shoes since then lol! I’m sure they will be fine now, and the toes will recover in time too.
But now, wait for it, the weather gets worse! Its being forecast that we will get snow here tomorrow afternoon, so even if I was contemplating an outing on a Saturday (not seriously), that would be enough to put me off anyway, even if it wasnt for the fact it will be raining before then anyway. No, I dont need to go out, but as its going to mean 3 days in a row without going out, I might get restless before I go back to work on Monday. No, Sunday, and public transport (even more so with rail engineering work around here at present) as it is, I wont be going anywhere, I very much doubt.
Oh, and in other news, I’ve been writing again. No, nothing that JK Rowling and her like have to worry about, its a quicky, under 2000 words. Nothing classy, sort of plays to my kinks, but I’ll leave that as all I’m telling you on here. Lets just say that the ‘heroine’ might wear something silver at one point lol. But yes, it was fun, even if it only happened because I’m off most of this week, I wouldnt have the time otherwise.
Oh, and for those of a gambling nature reading this, no, I wont be giving any tips for Cheltenham next week in this blog, despite my job lol! Still dont have a clue about what will win, all the same. And no, I wont be wearing silver to work next week, however apt it might be, given how crazy it will be. Well, not unless someone wants to sponsor me to do so, for Comic Relief and all that…silver hood needed if you want me to do that, mind, lol! 😛
Right, now to the video. A comment on the weather, and yes, unfortunately, I am old enough to remember this first time around
Yes, I had one of those shopping moments today, when I found an item I’d always longed to own, but never thought I would find. What is it, a pair of silver trousers! And even better, they were an absolute bargain, just £5!
Yes, alright, for sometime I’ve owned a pair of metallic silver leggings. Yes, great fun for me, but not exactly something that a middle aged woman is going to wear out on the street, lets face it, they are designed for the young, party going types, though I suspect they go in as much for pelmet length skirts as leggings anyway, but…
And yes, I’ve got a few silver tops, including sparkly ones, they seem to be easier to find in all honesty. Some of them are meant to be short dresses, but for me, they are tops lol! With my knees, and things…no chance of being otherwise. Its funny, in recent years, trousers in a multitude of colours have appeared, not just the traditional black, blue and grey. And yes, I have got a nice pair in purple, and a green elasticated pair in my collection already. But a pair in silver, or indeed gold, never seen any, well, not at what I call a sensible price anyway, I’m sure some trendy designers do them at £200 a shot, but I’m not made of money, you know!
So, anyway, cut a long story short. I had an afternoon trip out to Doncaster today. I know, hardly the height of the glamour world, but I like it, all the same. Having scoured the shopping centre down town, I venture outside, as I love strolling around markets (decent one here), and also there is a very good charity shop in that direction too. Yes, found a very nice pair of shoes there (£4.99), comfy brogue type in size 7, just perfect as my current pair are 8’s, and without socks are just a little too big in all honesty. They dont slip off as such, but are loose enough to be annoying, and rub a bit. Err, yes, they are silver btw. These were blue, nice enough for work, but not wide enough sadly. Ah well… I must stop wearing socks, women dont wear socks with shoes, so…
Then I see this shop opposite, everything £5, so the banner in the window said. As one never to miss a bargain, I checked it out. And what do I see, silver trousers! Yes, they had gold too, but…Snag, biggest pair they have is a size 12, and as you know by now, I’m normally a size 14. So I grumble to myself, and leave them on the rail. Go to a bargain shoe shop nearby, find a nice pair in black at £12.99, and buy them, still thinking if only the charity shop pair had fitted…
Anyway, back past this other shop, and I think, well, they’ve got a fitting room, lets try on those size 12’s, and see if they fit. I know they wont, or so I think, but…either they are generously sized, or its a US size thing (no idea, where stock was from btw), but they fit! So unsurprisingly, they came home with me!
The naughty side of me thinks I should wear a silver top, the silver trousers and shoes to work, and see what reaction I get. To be honest, the whole silver thing might be quite apt for the chaotic mayhem that will be Cheltenham festival week at work, but not sure the bosses would see it that way lol! Wonder if I can find a silver hood too lol? 😉
But yes, delighted to find a pair at last, I must say. Probably should have got a gold pair too in hindsight, but too late now! Didnt even look to see if they had my size, but probably did.
The video, an under rated artist from the 80’s, the song title you might have already guessed!
And if you havent worked out the music video already, well, frankly I’m disappointed in you lol! Yes, it should be that obvious I feel.
No, it didnt snow overnight, or not as I could see, anyway. What it did do, is snow this morning. No, we dont look like Vermont, or the Rockies, but for a while there, it was white. And given it snowed most of the morning, I gave up on going to Manchester at an early point, expecting the total breakdown of public transport to follow soon after, even if I had fancied wandering around Manchester in the snow, and hmm, maybe not? 😉 Funny thing is, it never really got nasty, the buses and trains kept running, and eventually, it even stopped snowing!
So, determined to at least get out, and get some fresh air, I ventured out into Huddersfield, if only to see if there were any interesting snippets left from the sales, as an aside to getting said fresh air. My main plan had been to have a look around Manchester first, and if nothing took my eye there, but, anyway, best laid plans and all that… Clearly all the best stuff was gone, apart from one top that I considered in BHS, I didnt see a thing that really grabbed me at all. Mind, I do need inspiring when I dont really have a major need, and it wasnt working. Then, last stop before home, Bon Marche. For me, they’re a bit like Peacocks and Dorothy Perkins, nicer than Primark, but that little bit more pricy too. Yes, I know, better quality, but I’m a Yorkshire girl, with small pockets lol! But they had a sale on too, and alright, I boosted their economy lol! 3 Nice tops, 1 pair of trousers, and a nightdress later, I was helping the local economy! Then, finally heading back for the bus, I spotted a new (to me at least) charity shop in a little precinct, and I found a long leather(ish?) skirt to my liking, at a silly price, as charity shops do. Oh, and I found the shoes to match the gold dress, long after the event. Proper heels too, but definitely not high ones. They fitted, so…No, I dont know why either, given I have no idea when I will be wearing a dress again, but I couldnt resist.
So now, before I even get to Manchester (tomorrow, if its not dangerously icy by then), I have even less needs lol! But yes, still going, I might find more in the larger size stores over there, plus my knees need that Aqua Massager even more after today! As the song says, Que sera, sera…lol!
